I never said anything about the Escort tanking more then a Crusier. Only that a decent Escort amor tank can tank a crusier. It is not hard to tank most crusiers at least 1v1

Perhaps if you could give us more info what u are flying ,loadout captain type ,, that sort of thing and also post up ur skills ,, that way you would prob get better feedback ,,,,

I still do not get why that is a bad idea or worth a giggle. It seems to me math wise beam Escorts should out DPS cannons. EDIT: I fly cursier so perhaps I am missing something but everytime I look beams win out even on a Crusier that can use 45arc cannons.

to get a kill with an escort you need spike damage. Beams don't give you that. FAW is a junk skill unless you use it for spam clearing. It makes your end of match #'s look good, but your damage is spread out so much it's insignificant to any actual ship kills your team got. In other words, your team scored a kill in spite of you, not with your help. use BO with your beams if you want to actually help your team, & not just inflate scoreboard #'s.

I would have thought with 160 weapon energy with the smaller arc of dual beams and fast turn rates the spike damage on 1 target with fire at will would be higher than rapid fire cannons. Surly dual beams at a constant 125 power will beat out cannons with weapon drop draining below 125.

First, you should describe the scenario better. What ships attacked the suspected cheater, what ship the suspected cheater had. If it was a karfi, that has the phase shift generator that might do what you say. Even more, if you frapsed the match, put it on YouTube and post the link. We definitely want to see if that's a cheat or not. Seriously.

Second, I yet have to see somebody that really deals damage to somebody else that has no shields and his hull won't take damage. Unless that somebody has tons of heals from his team. Not to say I don't believe you, but it's just hard to believe. Really, post that frapsed movie for us.

Third, I've been playing this game since the release, and guess what? Still have my butt kicked every now and then. Being a veteran doesn't make me (or you, or anybody else) better, trying to understand the mechanics and continuous improvement does.

If you ARE a PVPer, then you should know better, don't be a hipocrite. Everyone has good/bad days.

If your a 700+ day vet, then again you should know better.

Does being a fleet leader of however many people suddenly make you better then somebody else?

Buying out the C Store can certainly help, but you can't buy experience.

So, OP, you were fireing on an Escort, who's shields were down, while he was stuck in Eject Warp Plasma but couldn't dent his Hull Points (HP for short)?

You say you were using 5 Beam Weapons and the 180 degree Torpedo. What class of ship WERE you flying? Was it an under weaponed Escort, a Science ship, a Carrier, or an under weaponed Cruiser?

You claim to be using or under the influence of EPS and Emergency power to weapons 3, I take it you are an Engineer?

First, some information...

Emergency Power to Weapons 3 is a horrible skill now adays. The damage buff doesn't last nearly long enough. And you almost never need to buff your weapon power with Emergency power to Weapons 3, when you can use other powers to do it better. Such as Aux to Battery while running Technician Doffs.

If your looking to do damage, as a 700 day veteran, surely you know that Tactical captians deal WAY more damage in space? And that even a Science Officer can out damage an Engineer, right?

Also, the information you did give us doesn't tell us anything about the problem you had other then you are raging because you couldn't kill some one on the KDF side who was using an Escort. I mean there are 5 Escorts playable on the KDF Side? And then there's the BoPs?

If your looking for answers, try giving enough information to get it. If your just looking to rage because "Gasp something is over powered and needs a nerf!" please find another location to do it. Because with out it being an undisclosed bug, it could be alot of things the player was doing to resist your damage. A few things off the top of my head:

Personal healing via Hazard Emitters, Aux to Sif, Engineering Team, Borg 2 Peice Set bonus.

Higher resist numbers from Polarized Hull, Attack Pattern omega, Attack Pattern Delta, Hazard emitters, Aux to Sif including what ever consoles he was running, and if he was on a team with an Engineer, Engineering Fleet II.

BOP won't die CHEAT. lol

What buffs did he have up you didn't say... post the fraps vid or your full of it....

Most likely Mr. Bop was 3 armour units... was rolling polaraized hull and Hazards... Possibly had DOFFS that where giving him even more resists... was likely using his brace for impact at the proper time.... very possibly had evasive up that was giving him a crazy high defense, perhaps even had doffs that where keeping his evasive up 75% of the time. (This isn't a cheat but I don't think the Conn doffs work as intended at the moment) .....

Anyway as others have stated... more detail... perhaps a video post if you really took one... likely no cheating going on at all.... The brel is the best speed tank in the game really. (I know we wine its squishy cause it is) but if you don't kill there defense, they are not going down unless the pilot makes a massive error. My Brel that I never decloak in... hasn't had a PvP death in over 40 or so matches. lol

Edit... Just realized you never said it was a bop... eh what ever don't think your all that serious anyway.

Then whats the issue? You've done all that you can do to report cheating as you think you saw it.
Everybody all ready knows the PvP mechanics are borked, so why the drama?
