Contract for a bartender on a starbase. The bartender will be able to provide additional assignments for duty officers for fleet members, as well as an array of drinks.

So that is/was the description for the bartender, however you can't get any extra assignments chain or otherwise, that you can get from your ship barman.

So my questions or curiosity!

Are the additional assignments bugged and don't appear yet?

Will the developers add extra assignments for this barman?

If they do add assignments. Could they be for more then just special drinks or similar drops. Remember Quark and Guinan had adventures, so repeatable duty officers assignments, fleet credit assignments and GPL assignments would be nice!

You mean that you're disappointed that you ground out the starbasee project and its the same crap everyone already has access to on their ships? What did you think the developers should spend time and resources fleshing out the system instead of just a lazily copying and pasting the vendor from your ship? Gosh that's asking a lot don't you think?

edit: I'm sure there are plans to do it down the road. just like there were plans to expand the doff system, update the stf store with new costumes every few months, complete the 700 day veteran reward, add to the gpl vendor and do something with captain's table. eventually maybe. someday. just don't hold your breath in anticipation.

It would be nice to see them introduce a few fleet only assignments. Overall I am happy with how the starbase are developing in the other areas(fleet items), however when it comes to unlocking the chef, tailor etc etc. We will hold off until we have completed all the important construction project.

The bartender project probably cost us 2 weeks in development time, because some one queued that before our tier 3 science. We would have had the tier 3 starbase if they didn't queue it. It just annoyed us more when we found out you get nothing special from him(the bartender).

Oh well, onto the next project
