I'm flying the fleet defiant now it is a 3rd tier star base win. But from the day I saw the tier 4 shipyard reward of a fleet Aquarius Escort I wanted it. But comparing the 2 it's seems my Fleet Defiant is better. We as a fleet are so so close to T4 that I need to start making up my mind. Is it better in someway any way than the fleet Defient?

I have no idea why someone would buy the Aquarius except for the universal Boff slots

Looks like they updated since I last looked at it. Initially, it looked like a joke. Now it looks like it has similar characteristics to a Bird of Prey (which happens to be my favorite klingon ship to fly) minus the battle cloak.

And to be honest, the battle cloak (not regular cloak) is what makes the BoP shine. The Aquarius would make me feel like I'm in a wannabe BoP (which you already get in a Defiant) without the versatility of the cloak or the univ boff slots.

That said, I'm more looking forward to the Fleet Advanced Escort. Photonic Shockwave or Gravity Well would be a lot of fun to play around with on an escort and it still has 5 tac consoles.

Only another week to go....

In the meantime, I've been enjoying the Fleet Tac and Armitage for my tac and engineer respectively.

FYI, the Aquarius might be getting a turn rate buff in the near future (well, maybe).

What would you add to replace the Battlecloak?

What immediately jumps to mind for me is an enhanced Fleet Support. Shares a cooldown with Fleet Support (so you can't use both) but this one can be triggered at 75% health and summons a beefier support ship in the form of an NPC Odyssey.

I personally would like to see the Aquarius launchable from the Odyssey like a shuttle. That way you can switch between a cruiser or escort without returning to port.
