So, I'm started leveling my 3rd character.

I've been earning a decent amount of Zen points on my other two level 50 Characters. I was wondering what C-Store ships had the consoles that I'd be most likely to find useful in the long run. The idea being that I'd buy them as I level up.

Basically my question is, What universal console are considered the best?

I both PvP and PvE.

For fed? Probably just Theta Vent. All other fed ones rather suck. For KDF there's a slew I love using, but for fed I just load more shields, more AP mag relays, or more power to subsystems consoles. (plus borg universal)

The thunder child comes with a point defense system. It is very useful.

Console - Rule 62 Multipurpose Combat Console and Assimilated Module are pretty much musts which go on all my ships.

It's not a console from a c-store ship, but the Assimilated Module is a top console.

I also like Anti-Matter Spread on my Tactical Escort Retrofit. Works great in PvE and PvP. Aside from the cloak and AMS, these are the only c-store items I have.

I also have Vent Theta Radiation and Subspace Jump, depending on the situation. I really only use the Vent Theta Radiation for certain STFs, and use the Subspace Jump in fleet PvE missions.

The Theta Radiation Console is awesome for tac captains.

Kinda gives you a version of "vent plasma", not exactly but you get the idea

I sort of enjoy the subspace jump console as you can really shake off an escort on your tail. Or, you can catch up to that probe or you can escape a AOE hazzard by using it. It is fun but it is not a must have.

The point defense console is very useful!!!

Sorry

This console is handy for a tac captain.... it gives you some crowd control like the engineering skill "Vent Plasma".

It is not a common console, but I luv it. People dont expect an AOE power like that coming from an escort. It will catch a PVP player on your six by total surprise usually.

Thx

Wow, thanks for all the quick responses.

Further information that may be of help:

I was mostly interested in the C-Store consoles, but thanks for pointing out the lock box stuff, I'll have to pick some of it up.

The New Character is a Science Lieutenant Lvl 17.
I have a Klingon Engineer Lvl 50.
My main is a Starfleet Tactical.
