Only the universal assimilated module if you are using 2 other parts of the borg set. All the c-store consoles may seem cool but not worth it since you give up a slot that could be an extra field generator, neutronium console or energy damage console, you can never have enough of those. I love seeing idiots use the silly subspace jump or antimatter spread on me, all it does it is tell me they are squishy and time to focus on them.

I've even taking to ditching the borg console for another neutronium lately when I use Omega set instead of MACO and 3pc borg and like the results.

I think the assimilated module is always worth it, even on its own. It's the only item that boosts critical chance and damage, and its +5 weapon energy bonus is icing on the cake.

Can't quite agree with everything you say. C-store consoles are mostly situational items and precious few of them are useful in all situations. The point defense console is excellent for clearing fighters and shooting swarms of small ships in pve for example. Antimatter spread is great in most pve situations too, but it's worthless against the borg and against smart players in pvp. Subspace jump is great for escorts and the dreadnought as it practically guarantees a critical on the phaser lance, but it's worthless against a swarm of pve targets. Vent theta radiation is just not worth justifying a console since we have eject warp plasma. Graviton pulse is only really useful in STFs when you're trying to slow down borg probes or nanite spheres. Then again, a tractor repulsor is even better.

I love the isometric charge though: that is a universally "perfect in all situations" console to have, followed by the plasmonic leech.

I love that you think pvp is the only thing that matters in this game, as if anything matters at all. Keep stroking your epeen and telling yourself how important it is to be good in pvp, cause nobody else cares.

The best console in-game is actually a free console called the Assmilated Module. The console is a mission reward for the Borg mission "Assimilation."

What makes it great?-4 Reasons

• Gives you a hull regen and a shield heal when used with the Borg Set
• Has many diverse procs, like higher Crit chance, more weapon power, etc.
• The visuals look awsome
• It's 100% FREE

I PvP, and neither of those consoles are as useless as you think they are.
