Is it true that if you get the killshot with it, even though its a expose weapon, the enemy still vanishes in a blue vaporization effect ala the original show? Or is it just the one from the TOS bundle that does that?

It does in fact do that. I especially like the way the target strikes a pose before being vaporised.

Yep, the one from the mission does that. I've given it to my science officer, it let's me see when she gets the killshot. Surprisingly a high number of times.

Everyone you kill with the weapon is vaporised, usually striking a death pose in the process. I use this as my main character's principal weapon, with the story that it was handed down from his Starfleet officer Grandfather, and he's had it retrofitted to be a functional weapon in 2409.

This character is why I don't play my Romulan any more. Tovan Khev is NOT my BFF! Get him off my bridge!

wouldn't need to be adjusted, problem was it was too powerful and not enough settings, shame it was phased out, instead of stunning dukat out, you could vaporize him and his death pose .

Yeah, all TOS-Era weapons have the vaporize animation.

Wonder if they add the WoK Phasers, it would include that as well?
