Maybe its time to be able to fully customize your ships and or blend them with other ships you have? Just seems like it would be cool to have this abilty.
Also, maybe its time to bring the transphasic torpedoes back to their original glory? Make them a very low drop, have to be a vice admiral to use them. They shouldnt be slow like the tri-cobalts. And give them a 15% chance of destroying the target on impact. Quantums need to be higher dps than photons for sure. Chronatons are fine.
At times I wish this game felt more like star trek and less like champions online.
I wouldn't say 15% is a fair chance. It's the most destructive weapon, canonically, in Starfleet, sure. But when it boils down to gameplay, 15% seems way too overkill. They're faster than tricobalts, unless you're talking about the Breen Cluster Torpedo.
