i know this sounds daft but when you have leveled to 50, you stop gaining skill points for yourself. so how do you unlock vice admiral 2 and the new ships. i cant find an explanation anywhere. perhaps i'm a bit 'long in the tooth for gaming.'

Regardless of what the game says, there is no Vice Admiral 2, the level cap is 50.

You can use the VA level ships though.

Easy: You don't...

Level 50 is level cap. Also, the last free ship you get is at rear-admiral.

can someone please explain. in the starfleet rewards drop down menu, top left, it states:- vice admiral after 366,000 points and vice admiral 2 after another 13,001 points. but all experience points go to crew after level 50. so what do you do to unlock the later sub levels!!!!

Dude all the XP gain is converted to skill points and the level cap is 50, so u never ever gonna get to VA2!!


At least for now.
There's been talk of adding additional levels, but currently there's nothing you can do.
