# 1 Extreme lag since last patch
10-02-2012, 02:42 PM
I have a 40MB internet connection (5MB up) and have never had even the slightest problem with lag until this last patch, after which it seems I am lagging and experiencing extremely low frame rates. Has anyone else experienced this? Anyone figured out why?

(Sometimes when I first log in it is OK, then I enter ESD or DS9 and the lag becomes EPIC. Once the lag begins, I cannot seem to make it stop even by going into sector space or entering a mission.)

I've been kicked 3 times in the last 2 days. Last night (about 1:30 AM CST) I was doing the satellite repair mission when contact with the account server was lost. Without re-launching the game I attempted reconnect multiple times, finally after 7 minutes it reconnected. Sector space was a ghost town, and when I asked in chat about it, I got a 'what server burp' reply. Funny, the web browser was still working correctly all that time.

Last time I got kicked was sometime back in July.

I've had a lot of issues with random crash, but not a lot of lagouts.

I take it you haven't looked at this thread in the 'Official' PWE Support Forums...
