I was wondering when we were going to get sniper rifles from the elite ground weapons vendor... All I see is split beam and high density beam and also see the phaser types too which I read somewhere we were not suppossed to have...

So wheres our sniper rifles?

A shot gun with under barrel grenade launcher isn't too shaby.

They ever put in melee weapons? No? Seriously, why the heck have they not hooked up the Advanced and Elite melee weapons we were told existed, but needed to be hooked up to the vendor?

wow! they gave us something which we weren't supposed to have while not giving us something which we were supposed to have.

ROFL yeah so now we have the elite sniper rifles and elite melee weapons lol. So now I am wondering if the devs have planned to give the elite bat'leths a special look like all the energy weapons recieved or not. I was thrilled with its stats and functionality but not so much that it looked like a standard bat'leth

The Advanced Bat'leth is VERY plain-jane. There is a beautiful Bat'leth on display behind the vendors I hope the Elites get.

That said - be aware the Bat'leths have a display bug in the tooltip at the vendor, and do not show their actual damage and DPS - it is MUCH higher than the tooltip indicates.
