When I do a search for Saurian Brandy by left clicking and dragging one of my saurian brandys into the search box, I get only Saurian brandys that are worth 8000+ EC. However, when I limit my search to only those items that are uncommon, I get back Saurian brandy close to 0 and up to the value of 8,800. Also, when I sell Saurian Brandy, it doesn't show up on the search when I search for all items with no other limits. However, when I limit to to uncommon Saurian brandys, my brandy does show up. Can anybody make sense of this for me please?
This is an old bug, has been known about forever, applies to everything, not just Saurian Brandy, and is never getting fixed. Welcome to STO.
By the way, you can get Saurian Brandy for, like, 20ec, at the bar on SFA, ESD, or DS9.
That's really encouraging to hear. That would be a like a translator leaving out a crucial piece of testimony from the accused that lands the accused in jailed. I guess I just couldn't finish it....
it's a bug with the "all" option, if you narrow the search by rarity or category the exchange will show the right price. The word is that because this can be worked around it is a low priority bug.
