My bet's on a cruiser with universal slots, shy on consoles, and short of devices, but with Qin Raptor handling and a turn in the 12 to 15 range...and it will probably be a direct specification rip from the Fedside version, including either standard cloak, or no cloak at all.

A friend remarked it looks like an F5 from Star Fleet Battles (not to be confused with Starfleet Command) but I thought it reminded me of something else.

One of the hosts of Priority one mentioned that the 1000 Day KDF vessel was pure win and hinted that it had and incredible console setup.

The ship is mentioned in this week?s Priority one episode 99.

Has a Lifer since the 2nd week of open beta I?ll have access to both vessels soon enough (If not already), maybe they?ll both be cool enough to make me want to play STO again.

Based on some of their previous comments on ship layouts and design I wouldn't put much stock in them calling it "pure win". They make a fun podcast to listen to and are true, dedicated fans... but their comments on ships sometimes.... lets say no one can be good at everything.

I just wish it had a slightly different head on it. And one more console slot.

rememeber, regenerative mode is innate to the ship. meaning remove the console to turn into Tac mode and you still get the regenerative mode bonuses. so that makes up a little bit for the missing console. if someone never plans on running in tac mode they can remove the console and free up a slot.


and i dont think this ship should be Better than Fleet ships. its a free ship you can get to use while grinding up to a fleet ship. however, should they add a fleet version of this ship to the game, i think those who are vets that own the ship should get it for free. or at the reduced C-store price of 1 FSM.
