***Resolved Issues***
  • "Login failed for unknown reason" error
  • Missing additional character slot for current/ lapsed Gold Members
  • Slow patching in the launcher
  • A bug that involved Romulan Liberated Borg captains and their skills once they chose an ally

Vice Admiral/Lieutenant General Ship Token: Speak with a Starship Requisition NPC to claim a Vice Admiral (Fed) or Lieutenant General (Klingon) ship. For Federation characters, this token can be used to claim an Exploration Cruiser Retrofit, Long Range Science Vessel Retrofit, or Tactical Escort Retrofit. For Klingon characters, this token can be used to claim a B'rel Bird-of-Prey Retrofit, Varanus Fleet Support Vessel, Marauder Patrol Cruiser, or Kar'Fi Battle Carrier.

So which one should I go for? I am not a PvPer.

depends what character you are and what you like the look of.

im a fan of the kar'fi myself but depends what type of ship you are looking for.

you should be able to test each on tribble by copying your current character 4 times and trying each.

I would recommend the kar'fi as well, lets you do both good dps and CC in stf's. I don't have any experience in the other fleet actions so I can't say for those

Actually, the token only works for the B'Rel and the Kar'Fi. The Varanus and Marauder are Brigader General/Major General ships, so they don't fall under the Lieutenant General token.

But my personal recommendation is the Kar'Fi

B'rel-Retrofit with EBC or the Kar'fi.

Both are fun though they play differently.

A choice between a tiny BoP or a huge carrier. My raptor-flying Tactical captain was not amused. The new veteran ship is a nice option, since the two standard VA ships didn't fit her style.

My Science captain went with the carrier. It has a decent BOff setup for science. My Engineer ignored the choice and stuck with the prototype Bortasqu'.

I would have to go with the Kar'fi - and of course I get the Vet ship too. I don't like switching ships around and I often take my KDF toons into a STF elite. I don't think the B'rel would last very long or be very effective - come to think of it I don't think I have ever seen a B'rel in an STF elite!

Funnily enough, I've just outfitted my B'rel for Elite STFs - she's got 3 x Neutronium Alloys, 3 x Field Generators and a full set of Mk XII KHG - oh, and an engineer for a captain - so far, so good
