Does anybody know how to measure DPS in STO? Are there any programs/software that you can use or do most people just calculate offhand.

there are combat logg parsers...
but faster is to hover over your weapons tray and add all DPS values together.

There is a Combat ticker within your chatbox that runs all the time and show you damage per volley. You can adjust your HUD to show damage counter floaters in combat. These show up over your target as you fire.

I am not 100% sure what the parentheses mean. I've heard it is either calculation of DPS or the Damage through the shields. Can someone verify this for me?
