Irrelevant, and a bit of a cop-out, imo.

and you are? Ohh wait, that's right, just wasting my time. I mean, do you even have any videos with pugs? Come on now, show me your science in action, unless your all talk??? I am willing to learn, if someone has a better build than me. But if not, then yeah...

You will soon learn that there is not necessarily any correlation between how much value what a person says and how many fast forward videos they have on youtube.

You're not even carrying a ST ffs.

EDIT: But carry on. If one of the pvp fleets pick you up, they'll soon sort you out. Since I don't have any youtube videos, I'm obviously not qualified to share my sci builds

# 14 Science Team
10-17-2012, 07:15 PM
Yes, that was a causality, for more durability with a Tactical Team with 15 sec cooldown. you need that to face down those Bug ships. My build is set up to be an escort killer. Science team makes me less durable, unless there is a doff I am missing. I will look into it though, just in case. The only thing I would swap for that would be polarize hull. But I get tractor beamed a lot more than I am effect by science... So was that all your gripe was about? ffs

ohh, and videos just prove what you can do. So it's not just words that you are using. Here's an example, name the greatest martial artist. Now what do you think of??? Jet Lee, Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee??? It is said there are greater martial artist out there hidden in temples or mountains. But you don't know them cause they aren't on video. We don't know, unless we see and compare. Right???

But tell you what, why don't you 1 v 1 me and I'll put you on video. : )

Your build appears to rely on instagibs, without any real method of taking down a facing yourself. What more can I say.

You know that 1v1's are pretty much irrelevant, right? In a game so heavily based around teamplay.
If you still want to 1v1 my sci then by all means, but I hope you have alot of memory spare, because nobody will die. You won't kill me because I'm certain of that, and my sci won't kill anything by itself because it's role is to play sci in a team.

And no, my only issue with your build is not just your lack of ST, that's just the most basic of the basic issues.

3 videos, and I don't think you so much as targeted a friendly, nevermind tossing a heal.
Lol, you're that guy that people shouldn't bring along to a job interview or a date!

So you take 5-10 people with that mentality and drop them in a match. With each of them believing that they will only give what they get, nobody will give anything as nobody gets anything. Afterward, they will each individually say that they didn't give anything because they did not get anything.

Do you see the fault in the logic there?

It's a self-fulfilling prophecy - by not giving anything, you're guaranteeing at least one person is not giving anything - thus, somebody else may reach the same conclusion that they received nothing - so they will not give anything.

Personally, if I see somebody in trouble and I believe my throwing them a heal will buy them time - I'll toss it out there. Course, I try to pay attention to the names - because if that person's flying like they're playing with their toes while drooling - I'll likely save it for somebody else that might need it. I'll also pay attention to whether or not the person's throwing anything else out to folks. If they're not, then I'll again save that for somebody that does.

I try to remember the names of the healers (not the self-healing tanks) in matches and make sure to support them when I see them again (or if they're on the other team, make sure I try to kill them).

It sounds like hippy nonsense, tbh, but I start off with the "do unto others as you would have them do unto you" before I switch over to the "do unto others as they have done unto you"... yep, I try to be positive before wishing I was on the other team so I could frag them as well.

When I first read that - I stopped at the interview part, trying to figure out why somebody would bring somebody with them to an interview. After I shrugged that off, I got to the date part... wtf? Kinky...

Oh come on... you've never had a job interview or a date interrupted by someone you know? Someone saying things like "Hey man! Nice party last weekend! I have a picture of you dancing naked outside the retirement home!"

no? really? must be cause i live in a small town then...

Heh, you said bring along - not show up. I definitely get the person you wouldn't want to show up while you were at an interview or on a date. It was the bring along part that kind of threw me...

Lucy: Hi, Ricky - you ready to go?
Ricky: Sure, we'll just stop by Fred's, pick him up, and we'll be good to go.
Lucy: Fred?
Ricky: Yeah, he's an old friend of mine.
Lucy: Are we dropping him off somewhere on the way?
Ricky: No, he's coming with us...
Lucy: Oh is he now?
