I'd like to be able to include a tag, similar to [rank] [firsname] [lastname] that would allow us to reference bridge officer and away team names in our foundry missions. [engboname], [tacboname], and [sciboname].
This has been requested several times before, including by yours truly. Hopefully the devs will take the hint soon.
I'd also like to have a tag for the player's fleet (with, say, "Starfleet Command" or "Klingon High Command" as a default for players who aren't in fleets). This would be useful for multiplayer maps/missions that fleetmates could play together.
Speaking of tags, I thought it'd be a nice option to be able to use them in dialog boxes (i.e. the ones where the replies are written that the player clicks on). I was working on a mission earlier and one of the moments required that, but I couldn't do it, so I had to change it a little bit.
This has been asked for over and over, along with a "current player" costume. Both would be extremely easy things to add but Cryptic just doesn't seem overly interested in dealing with the foundry except as an afterthought.
This might change after Neverwinter hits, depending on how its (seemingly much improved) version of the Foundry pans out and is received.
They just added the ability to make custom NPC movement paths, to despawn npcs and to save and load costumes between projects on tribble.
They are adding the things we've asked for... not quickly I'll grant you, but they are doing it.
