That is all that is needed for it.

i'm owning 15 ships, several of them i use in fvk (also tried different builds). with none of them that made experiences really altered for me

Consider swapping out your Eng consoles for hull resists to minimize your odds of getting critted with shields down. Keep at a distance, crank your aux up high (some Klinks are smart enough to do the same, but if nothing else you can pop a buffed resist when they decloak while you switch back).
CSV is OK but a little tricky to use, torps work great against siphons. Buffed warp plasma murders pets, so does TBR, Grav Well and a lot of others that have already been mentioned.

... and i'm already using them. hull resist consoles were swapped out, for just not being effective at all ^^.
you know i did some tests on my own, when started to pvp. now i got builds that just suits fine for most situations (tanky escorts: i got; punching cruisers/sci-ships: yeah, i got... as most as you can make them punch i guess ^^. may i'm wrong with that, but my recluse f.e., or any recluse anyway, is a hell of a beasty tank).
but even with defensive consoles against drains or what, experience has not changed against klinks when those 2 are in the match! klinks win.
so again: beside the fact we obviously not will come to one point, what about a dome of doom? (-->
here):i would just be fine with that, cause at least it would make pvp some more player friendly (may also for newbs/noobs, who just run after being vaporized by klinks on the doorstep).
and yes... nowadays i just run when spotting aa's or some apsd and start pet hunting. rounds are almost over then for me ^^...
edit:
borticus just said something on the changes on siphons. sounds good to me, check it out
here
.
edit2: out of the feedback in this thread i made some changes in my builds and am very satisfied. just wanted to say thx for all your input

... not that it saves me in a c&h with aa's and siphons, but at least i perform better now.
