We are aware there is a queue to log in at this time.
We're aware of a Skill Points issue some Romulans may be experiencing, as well as players not being able to delete mail, and are working towards a resolution.

T5 requirement
40.000/60 per STF =666 STFs
Add the cost of weapon and equipment you still need over 1000 STFs to quip one of you characters.

Attaining Tier 5 in Omega Rep costs 1,686 Marks, 0 Elite Marks, and ~80,000 Dilithium.
People that have already obtained a full set of the Mk XII gear of their choosing no longer have the need to spend the currency listed in above. In fact, along the way to obtaining that gear, it's incredibly likely that they've picked up a good chunk of EDCs, Salvage and Tech, all of which they have no use for (because they already have their desired gear), and will all be converted into Omega Marks which now have a purpose for them, should they choose to use them.
Their extra 'reward' is the fact that the system will cost them less. Considering the prices involved here, that's not something to be ignored.
So it is ~80 STFs and ~23 days of dilithium grinding for tier 5 and a set. Sounds reasonable.
To be honest, this seems less painful than the STF grinds I've heard of a lot of people going through to get Mk XII gear. It seems like it's fairly chronic that people grind hundreds of STFs without getting complete sets.

Given how I'm almost out of Dilithium because of Starbase Projects right now, I rather grind STFs for that slight chance to get a FREE Tech drop than working HARD for months and blow it for a set that's likely to be obsolete in a few months.
As for the Items we get from the Omega Reputation:
Where is the Borg Bat'elth?
Where is the Borg Medical Kit?
Where are the Borg DOFFs?
Where are the Borg Engineer and Tactical Kits?
Legacy of Romulus? No, Lag-acy of Ran-u-Less.

More like 4000, not 40k. This is how false information is spread and people freak out. I consider myself and elite STFer and I am a vice admiral in an almost tier 3 fleet, and I have no issues with the reputation system. Dilithium cost for small visuals in a fleet are insanely overpriced, not this system.
Most depressing news is change to XP requirements for tiers.
Tell me about it.
It's going to take around three months to max out the tiers.
I've already decided to ignore my klink toons and I was seriously thinking about ignoring my federation science toon. Now I'm starting to wonder if I should drop my main engineer or my main tactical, since it's becoming less feasible to keep both going.
