The official programme you buy on the door also advertised STO on one page.
Yep That was planned by us.
Cheers,

Great event but, just as with the Vegas convention, it was meeting STO players, fleetmates, and Foundry authors that really made DSTL so amazing for me. There are some truly awesome people playing and making missions for this game, and I am blessed to have met some of them in person and call them friends.
And the Foundry has an utterly remarkable amount of currency. I was stopped a number of times each day by complete strangers asking whether I was alimac30, and I was even asked for my autograph! Crazy
I had an incredible time... I only wish it hadn't ended so soon.
I popped down on the Friday night to watch the Captain's Talk / Opening Ceremony.
It was great to see the five captains, and a lot of the bridge officers made appearances too, beforehand.
John Barrowman made a fantastic host - obviously a ST fan himself.
There wasn't much of a show floor though. The museum (prop exhibition) was fun, but other than that it was just paid photos/signings and merchandise stores.
The crowd were great though, and I imagine a lot of fun was had at the parties.
It really looks like it was an amazing experience. Thanks for sharing the photos with us.
