# 1 This is something Silly...

Ok.. so early on when they released Aux to Bat to it's own cool down area.. and with testing with DDIS, we learned how Eject Warp Plasma's cool down can get reset with Aux 2 Bat x2 + 3 Technician Doffs to where Eject Warp Plasma can be made.. Perma. And you can stack it on some one so that when the first cloud ends your already placing a fresh cloud on them.

Add that to this build.. and things get even crazier.. Though the weapons are debatable on the ship that I'm flying with it.. the powers seem solid.

Chimera
Universal LtC: Emergency power to Aux 1, Aux to Battery 1, Eject Warp Plasma 1
Ensign Universal: Tractor Beam 1
Commander Tac: Tactical Team 1, <you pick>, Omega 1, <You pick>
Lt Engineer: Emergency power to Shields 1, Aux to Battery 1
Lt Sci: Hazard Emitters 1, Transfershield Strength 1

Doffs: 2 Very Rare Technician Duty officers, 1 Rare Technician Duty officer, <your choice>, <Your choice>

Depending on if you go Cannons, Torpedoes, Beams, Mines, or a Mix for your Lt and Cmd Tac powers will determine consoles being used, etc as well as the last two Doffs you use.

A current Build I'm testing has Torp Spread 2 (Might change to HY 2) and Dispersal Pattern Beta 3 with 2 Rapid Fire Transphasics in the front, a Normal Very Rare Mk XI Transphasic Torpedo in the front, and the Transphasic Cluster Torpedo with 2x Transphasic Mines in the back with a Mk XII Tric Mine in the back. (I don't have Optimal consoles either, because I just can't afford them right now on any of my characters.)

Perma Warp Plasma, and all other powers being near Global is stupid. The Key is to Activate Aux to Bat After the Warp Plasma ejection finishes and goes on cool down. EpTA is for when Aux to Bat splashes and kills your Aux, which does happen often.

Another option to go is DEM 2 instead of EWP or RSP 2 if your feeling in the mood to be tankier.

So while yes, there are somethings that are overpowered, this one feels like it's gone above and beyond. Though only usable on Cruisers or specific other ships that have access to the right officer line up, it's still extremely rediculious. Don't believe me? Then try it for your self. Or if I'm in game, contact me and I can show you how stupid it gets.

It does seem kinda exploitable on paper... personally I'm not sure what'd stop you just avoiding them/keeping at a distance and chewing through their defences, since their heals'll be gimped from all the aux-chugging.

vids and guides and stuff

ive been saying all along, its insanely brutal. you are OUT OF YOUR MIND if you run a tactical cruiser, nebula, vet ship, and maybe even a bop and you arent using 2 AtB.

but a plasma cloud is pretty easy to escape, having the uptime with it balances out just how easy it is to get out of. ramming speed gets you out of it, evasive near the edge gets you out of it, HE clears it, but doesn't dig you out of it quite as well as it used to, and having a high dampener score is helpful too.

only ships more maneuverable then cruisers that have LTC eng stations can use EWP well in an offensive way, cruisers you just have to rely on an escort getting point blank on you, and they have the easiest time escaping it. only players that were gonna die anyway, can really be purma plasma'ed

running 2 copies of EWP proboly yields the same up time, but i have yet to check. if its deploying faster then the global, that is a bug.

-=ATTENTION BORTICUS=-

AtB is lowering the cooldown of the dkora EMP, i saw someone using it like every 30 seconds. now THAT is broke as hell.

I haven't checked in awhile, but the problem w/H.E. clearing EWP is it stopped clearing the proc after the 1st one or 2 procs. In otherwords, I could hit HE while in cloud, APO to leave cloud, and still have the proc even w/HE up and tic'ing away while out of the cloud. In the past (I think it's been fixed) I saw it was possible to get below PSW global w/tech and photonic doffs. I think it was corrected last I checked.

What's really silly, is even when I get Subnuced, I more or less just kinda "Ho hum.. Nuked my buffs.. oh well.. Oh look.. I still have an Aux to Bat not on cool down.." instead of the "CRAP! I just got Nuced.. Oh well..I'm dead cause everything else is on cool down!"

indeed just another one of the HUGE advantages of using tech doffs. again, crazy to not use them unless you need reliable aux at all times, like a healer. its not a sub nuke hard counter, but it does help a lot

And apparently the flood gates have been opened lol. I've already started to see more people using Aux to Bat builds then before.. I predict a nerf will come some time during or after Season 7 at this rate.
