Are they liked? Are they used? Are they bought?

For me, they seem strange. I am not willing to spend hard earned credits on something that can only be used once. They should either give something permanent or be cheaper.

For example ships could have a new slot. "Communications Array" and you place OP-Assets there like equipment and they have a 10min cooldown, then I would buy them all to collect them and try them out and use the ones I like best.

(For Ground the slot would be of course the "Communicator" )

What do others think about them?

Actually no one really buys those Assets stuff,
why because you cant use them any where else except for the
event stf missions only,

so there just a complete waste of fleet credits

a few times some people ask me on advice about those things
i tell them straight up, they suck dont bother with it
you cant use them anywhere.
---

side not i would love to use some of those Asset pets for borg stf or some of the missions.

I bought the Phaser lance activation when the fleet system went live.

Still haven't used it.

Waste of effort to unlock provisions for those items.

I've used the base lance - couldn't tell it did anything - and one of the turrets. Meh.

As far as being a waste of Fleet Credits, I have nothing else to spend them on.

The ones that call in starships are nice. I used the Intrepid one in a 20 player match; very sweet.

I got a buddy who has used the Stargazer cruisers, he likes them.

The minelaying cruiser was awesome.

The Fleet Turrets are cheap and cheerful, they have some staying power too.
My Romulan Liberated Borg character made it to Level 30 and beat the (old) Defense of New Romulus with the skill point bug.

Nah, they're junk. But Cryptic puts consumables in all their systems as a potential resource drain, so somebody must use them.

Cryptic must have statistics about them and see that no one uses them. They spend all this time developing the effects of it. It's sad.

I think the biggest issueis the provishioning requierments. I run a solo base but haven't really put any effort in, just did it for the fleet bank and the off chance we might someday get reduced costs for small fleets et al. Regardless the thing that stuck out to me is that the projec requires 30 of two diffrent specific doff types. That makes it a rather tough project for all but the large fleets, even the 10-15 man ones are going to have trouble completing it often enough to get a lot of provishions. It's hard to make effective use of somthing when you can't really aford to mass use it.
