Requesting a Transwarp To button for this sector, either as a diplo-reward or as function of the Excelsior class.

Acamar III: The blue Nebula in the BG flickers when the camera pans with peices disappearing and reappearing erratically

Acamarians: >_<' that's not what Acamarians look like... The in game art uses a set of forehead ridges similar to klingons, the race had a vertical crease in their foreheads in TNG.

Acamarian ships: Would it be possible to program a simulacra of the ship used by the Gatherers? The model used is a ship used in the game by generic races. But.... this model was derived from a design used by the Talarians in TNG.

Acamar system patrol: is there supposed to be a reward for this?

Galorndon Core: Interesting mission, but I ran into an issue with a Hirogen group that was respawning constantly, I couldn't seem to get the gekli to move while that group was alive. It was the first group to attack the gekli after they started down the ribbon. I did try bush-whacking the Hirogen though. I flew ahead and shot them all to peices before attempting to herd the Gekli into the ribbon. Then when I started herding I had that problem.

Also I was able to collide with the curvy ribbon in the system.

Suliban: aww.... why can't we go there?

I have to say I like the way Tau Dewa is connected to the other sectors. It has clearly marked which part of the neighboring sector block you'll end up in.

I hope that the rest of the map will receive a similar update.

Nice idea. Didn't see any ground missions yet, which was a little surprising. If they are the same missions at each system each time, I can see this getting a little old after awhile.

Also would like a transwarp for this system, too.

Not every system has a mission attached to it, so its a little annoying as you fly up to maps that dont have anything. could we get a little list pop up via a button the right hand side listing the maps you can use?

the starbase mission it said you had to disable the first few groups, then 2 support ships and a starbase. i only saw 1 of the support ships. i dont know if the second support ship warps in after the starbase is taken care of or not (only got it down to about 20% so was unable to find out) but it was not on the map.

i would like to see some ground maps added, hopefully to the systems that are empty. (or possible added the next FE series there, which i assume could be the plan.

I have used my science char on an escort (mobius with the wells console) with a borg 2 piece + maco shield to test the space missions.

Starbase 234: I killed the first centaur class ships, destroyed an armittage but ignored the peregrine fighters. They ignored my while i was shooting at the starbase, it was a bit weird. I killed the starbase without a lot of difficulties, I've done it with 45 seconds left without knowing much what to do.

I think it's a mission designed for escorts, since the starbase doesn't deal a lot of damage but has a lot of HP. My escort has never been in danger at any moment. Cruisers could have a lot of difficulties killing the SB before the end of the timer though. Less HP and more dps from the starbase could balance the mission; cruisers could compensate their lack of dps with more survivability.

I won without killing the peregrines, idk if it works ad intended here.

Nequencia system: A quick trade mission you can't fail. There's nothing at stake since you can revert everything you do backward. It's ok as long as you don't do it every day.

Acamar system
: Interesting but too short. I just had to click on the [diplomacy] option to complete the mission when it appeared. 3 dialog windows to solve a planetary dispute, that's not much. It doesn't really feel Star Trek, I've never seen a 30 seconds episode...

Japori system: get in the system, recieve a plasma torp so that you just close the pop-up window without reading it and pew-pew 5 waves of nausicans. I'm not really impressed.

Beta Thorodir: See japori. Get in the system, get torped by Romulans, read the pop-up, kill the klingons. A bit more challenging here, but it remains easy in normal. One bug: I had "rival" ships as a Fed.

What about optional objectives? If the romulan bops could die we could have an optional objective, keeping alive as many romulan ships as we can. It would make both missions more appealing and we would feel that there's something at stake if the romulans could die.

I've completed the daily with these missions.

Overall: the rewards seems on par with the duration of the daily. I do appreciate the efforts not to make them repetitive and boring, and I think things are going in the right direction (that's the positive feedback), but some of the missions are really too short or underwhelming. I'd like to save some Romulans, but they don't die. I'd like to be a diplomat but it takes me 30 seconds to solve a century old conflict...

I guess I have some issues with a lot of this content.. or lack there of.

How many kill 5 groups of random enemy are there here? Really? Is this how creative we are? We heard in an interview about removing less creative content like patrols, but the patrols are all 10x better than these pieces of crap. Warp in, 3 romulan frigates being bashed by a random enemy.. sounds almost like those awful Deferi missions nobody does. I guess turning the romulans into a joke of a race that can't muster anything other than frigates like the Deferi is going to happen

Why does the map itself have labels going to individual sectors instead of the block? This is inconsistent with the rest of the entire game.

Acamar system seemed non-sensical. Diplomacy is an easy out, without diplomacy not much made any sense

Starbase 234 was different, not sure on the DPS balance there though

The trading mission I liked, it was new and creative

Herding the Gekli needs to be deleted and never brought up again, it is so dull it should never have entered someone's mind.

Why no ground missions? Too difficult to copy/paste these?

Acamar isn't about a century old conflict.... it's about the fact that their society only forgets old conflicts when it creates new ones.... you're being asked to mediate one of the recent conflicts.

  • Starbase 234 is on the wrong side of the Federation/Romulan border. Even though the original SB 234 from TNG got destroyed by the Borg in 2381, the new one should not have been built within Romulan territory either...

  • Just a straight line as border seems rather... unimaginative. Shouldn't a demarcation line like this be kinda bend around certain systems etc.?

  • The relative locations of Khitomer, the Carraya system and the Nequencia Alpha system does contradict the map we saw in TNG: Birthright, Part I (http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/File...thright_II.jpg)
