was trying out this build but really dont get it... all the emergency power to XXX share 15sec CD so you mostly block your power to weapons or shield with the other one... do i miss something i am doing wrong??
2 copies of 2 different EPt skills fit together perfectly, with perfect up time for both types. slot 3 blue or better damage control doffs and you can get nearly reliable full uptime like that with just 1 copy each. also with tech doffs and AtB, anything that can run 4 EPtX skills will probably be able to use that too
keep in mind the builds in this thread are a bit outdated, most are pre LoR. if the builds don't have any of the more recent additions, its not because im advising you not to use them
You can chain, 2 EPTX skills if you're paying attention.
I would rather use the EPTX cooldown doffs first before having 2 pairs of EPTX skills eating up boff slots.
I tend to run 3 EPTX skills in cruisers, and use the third as a supplement.
I plan on doing some farming, and at least updating my cruisers consoles, if not the reputation. Eventually I want to. Just to see how insane my engineers defense can get to become. I'm going to pick all of the heal bonuses for the repfarm. And all of the heal consoles.
Combined with fleet shields I'm curious to see just how zombie the engineer can become now.
So far in my return, I've noticed that the maco might as well not even be in the game without external heals. Fleet Shields seem to be the only way to maintain old durability, at least without the embassy consoles and reputation.
That's right.... he's baaaaack at least till October. I want to see this trainwreck first hand.
