Lirpa. Not only for the AOE/knockback, but it often inflicts bleed.

I even went so far as to give my T4 diplo Gorn Engineer a Lirpa just for the sheer amusement value of watching him run up to some hapless enemy, knock them down, then lay mines on them while they're getting up.
