I love STO
<---- My title shows I am a lifetime . I thourghly enjoy the Game apart from 2 things
1 : Exchange prices are really annoying but is insignificant

The music . I ackknowlage 2 things, A new music was introduced and B it is expensive . Anyone played Star Trek Legacy? Amazing game... and the Music was superb to say the least . I would love that music in this game . And maybe even more . The ones we have are dull . We need moer lively music , maybe more sinister music and perhaps each ALien has a range of themes
My dreams ...

What do you think of what I just said?
Hopefully I'll come back from my break; this break is fun; I play intellectual games.

I hope STO get's better ...

It was once said with Star Wars, that if it wasn't for the music of John Williams, the story would've been boring. And I think similar was said with Star Trek as well. The music in Trek augmented the senses of urgency, comedy, action, romance, and even more. Need I remind people of the music of The Inner Light? The musical genius of the Goldsmiths?

I would love if Cryptic would remaster the music and give us such feelings again. When I go through sector space, let the music fill me with the feeling of exploration. When I'm in battle, play the Klingon theme when I'm on a Klingon. Or have music in familar places, like a theme similar to the DS9 Theme music when I enter the zone.

Personally, the only music I do like among the STO soundtracks is the STO theme in the Creator, the Star Trek Theme when you enter Federation space, the classic TOS Colosseum music, and there is one Track that I never heard of (or forgotten) that I encountered on Tribble recently that was really great for fight music (but the zone randomizes the music).

So if Cryptic has the time and budget, to take the time to remaster the music and give us a real Trek experience.

They don't want to pay the fees that go with using Actual Star Trek Music...

They had to jump through many hoops just to be able to use that one musical theme in Colosseum.

They did recently add several new musical themes of their own creation to the game.

But I too, would love to hear more of the Classic Music we've grown to luv.

I didnt' say they had to use music from Star Trek, Davey. Just make the soundtracks in STO better.

I have to agree the music in this game can get grating and almost ruins the experience.

It would be great if we could insert our own
Star trek music into there instances where
Music is used

Perhaps a program that would let you substitute
Yours for there's sold I'n the z- store of course

Kirks fighting music for ground combat

The Klingon ship fighting theme from tmp

So on and so forth

We did this I'n star trek armada by changing out the files

STO could make a Juke box sell themes for 50 or 100 zen
Each you use them from the juke box to replace ther music
That way royalties could be tracked and paid

It's something worth considering
Jellico....Engineer ground.....Da'val Romulan space Sci
Saphire.. Science ground......Ko'el Romulan space Tac
Leva........Tactical ground.....Koj Romulan space Eng

JJ-Verse will never be Canon or considered Lore...It will always be JJ-Verse

I would jump through flaming hoola-hoops for the ToS Kirk battlemusic and the Klingon score from TMP. Alas, I settle for just having sound effects on.

Legacy's music was just as bad as most of the music scores in this game. In fact, the same audio software was probably used in both games. They sound so alike.
