So I did an Enterprise-E build for all versions of the Sovereign, including the Mirror Star Cruiser.

But, I rushed it, and I feel like I didn't do a good job, so here's what I'll do.
Below is a build for the Regent-class cruiser. JUST the Regent-class.

Let's start with weapons. The Enterprise-E had quantum torpedoes in the fore section along with photon torpedoes in the aft section. So, here's how we'll load the weapons.

Fore Weapons:
Phaser Beam Array
Phaser Beam Array
Wide Angle Quantum Torpedo Launcher
Phaser Beam Array or Quantum Torpedo Launcher


Aft Weapons:
Phaser Beam Array
Phaser Beam Array
Photon Torpedo Launcher
Photon Torpedo Launcher or Phaser Beam Array


Bridge Officer Stations:

-Lt. Commander Tactical
Tactical Team 1
Beam Fire-At Will 2
Torpedo High Yield 3

-Ensign Tactical
Tactical Team 1 or Torpedo Spread 1

Commander Engineering
Emergency Power to Shields 1
Reverse Shield Polarity 1
Auxiliary to Structural 2
Warp Plasma 2

Lt. Commander Engineering
Emergency Power to Engines 1
Directed Energy Modulation 1
Extend Shields 2

Universal Station
I strongly suggest using Lieutenant Science.

Science Team 1
Hazard Emitters 2

Consoles: The meat of a ship.

Engineering (4)
EPS Flow Regulator
RCS Accelerator
Ablative Hull Armor (You could also use Neutronium Hull Armor)
Field Emitter

Science (2)
Emitter Array
Field Generator

Tactical (3)
Metreon Gas Console
Phaser Relay
Directed Energy Distribution Manifold

Or how about scraping the current Regent and give us a real refit. I hardly see Regents now. THe idea flopped

If I remember correctly from Nemesis, the Enterprise-E also has Fore Photon Torpedoes

I tried to do a similar build with Quantum and Photon Fore and Photon Aft but I found that having one less beam array in the front kinda hurt me a bit. So I have equipped my Regent with Quantum Fore and Aft

My Boff layout on the Regent is as follows

Ensign Tactical Station
Tactical Team 1

Lt. Commander Tactical Station
Beam Overload 1
High Yield Torpedo 2
Torpedo Spread 3

Lieutenant Universal Station ( I went with Tac)
Fire at Will 1
Torpedo Spread 2

Commander Engineering Station
Emergency Power to Shields 1
Reverse Shield Polarity 1
Engineering Team 3
Auxiliary to Structural 3

Lieutenant Engineering Station
Emergency Power to Shields 1
Engineering Team 2

Consoles (Going from Memory on this one)
Engineering (4)
Metreon Gas Console
RCS Accelerator
RCS Accelerator
Hull Armor ( I switch this up depending who I'm up against)

Science (2)
Shield Emitter Amplifier
Shield Emitter Amplifier

I see lots of them.

And then there are the ones who use the Sovereign skin on it....

That's what I am doing right now, albeit I am splitting time between this ship and the Chimera.

How do you have so many Boff abilities? You have 3 sci abilities on a Lt. Science station.

Consoles are crazy too. There's a cruiser thread in the PVP forum, you should check that out.

And why do Regents suck???....b/c there's usually stories or eye witness accounts of them getting *blown up* in PVP. WASTE of a ship. PWE really struck out on this one.

And this makes me a little sad. People shouldn't use ships because they're "good in PvP"

They should use them because they like the ship.

They should use them because they like the ship.
So true but it is hard to use a ship that is outclassed by so many ways. What STO needs is balance.
The Average PvP player

1) Teamwork and timing is #1
2) You cannot "Kirk It" in every ship
3) You are going to die, just get back up

When I heard about the new assault my first thoughts was its about time we finally get a real assault starship bridge. Only to find out, that they are charging people what 30 bucks for a skin, and some things that will give them a edge in pvp I could careless about props. To me a starship is its lore, and its bridge. These are things I look for in a ship. Call me old fashion but I play star trek online for a complete ship, not just a skin for sector space.
