That page makes no sense.... 2367 was TNG era! Actually... the Ep with Kamala made references to Krios being in KDF territory. My copy of the Star Trek Encyclopedia (written by the Okudas, who do the background info for the series) agrees that "The Mind's Eye" and "The Perfect Mate" were talking aboout the same race.
Which makes perfect sense since 2367 are the events of "In the Mind's Eye".
And "Perfect Mate" makes no refence to Klingon space.
There is exactly one reference to Klingons in that episode:
"I'm afraid my premature emergence from stasis has left me a little... vulnerable to the desires I sense from men. Nevertheless, this is who I am, Captain. You might as well ask a Vulcan to forgo logic... or a Klingon to be nonviolent. I cannot change, and I don't want to until it's time for me to bond with my permanent mate."
What other reference is there?
It also makes no sense to me that those two should be the same species, because how could an conquered world under Klingon control be at war with another world?
I'd like to see every canon race in the Star Trek franchise represented in the game somehow. The way the franchise is written, of course, it is always possible to have new races added at any time.
Talaurians. Most definitely. Son'a. Yes.
But more than this, and I see it as more important, is to develope more depth. Klingons are ruled by a number of Great Houses. We see so many espionage Doff missions. Those great houses have territories, planets, resources, and feuds. Expand on that. Letheans should have their own story lines as they expand their influence in subtle ways. Gorn, same. Orions, same. Etc.
All these planets in all these star systems. Every time the series had a new story on a new planet. Lots of room to grow inward.
I would like to see a Reman renegade race with new special ground and space abilities.
=^= Starfleet Code Red Message =^= Starfleet intelligence's central network was compromised by an insidious ARC virus. All captains are to avoid contact with the ARC until we can ascertain how dangerous it is. All ships remain on high alert!
I'll vote up the Xindi-Insectoids
but not the Reptilians.
Reason: KDF already have the Gorn, which is the games opposite for the Saurians.
If the Xindi-Reptiles are introduced, the parity needs maintained, and the Feds get the Selay.
Which gives us the problem that the galaxy has way too much reptile musk going on...
I want a playable Fek'lhri The content is already there, the NPC's are already there, the story arc is there, the ships are there, and this is the best content on the KDF side. This still reinforces my point though about needing substance to go with any new race.
KDF doesn't need new races, it already has many that don't really belong, where it is lacking is in ships of all types, dil store, z-store, and fleet ships. I hope the devs focus on that and not new races. Also new content nad new uniforms should take priority over new races. I'm sure if a poll is taken most KDF players would rather have more ships, content, and uniforms instead of new race.
if we must have a new race maybe the zindi insectoid then
The alien generator is enough for now. We can create cardassians, romulans, or whatever specie you want. Even Roswell or the blue guys from Avatar if you're into this.
Non-humanoid species would be really interesting though. I know it would create a lot of issues, because people would cry out loud to get more costumes and stuff, but I'd like to play something not looking like to a human in disguise.
