.
Actually according to what's been put out so far only escort class ships (Raptor) can equip "cannon" type weapons. Birds of prey, battle cruisers and carriers will be limited.

I'm just gonna post this and read after since every time I read a page, 2 more pop up.

Will Klingons get some PvE at some point, and by that I mean a "mission" that involves attacking a Federation space port or invading a planet that holds strategic advantages such as a "base of opperations" or they have tech that the klingons could use or something?

Can we please start seeing more Klingon ( and other faction) ships and details before the new year, perhaps before xmas?

And lastly, how will creature creation work for the Klingons? Would I be able to make a "human" captain (which doesn't seem likely canon-wise) or will we be able to make more unique type of aliens?

What will happen to your crew pool at the end of these battles? Will killed crew have to be refilled at a starbase or do you refill at the end of the battle?
Not sure about pvp but the crew description states they can only replenished at a starbase or planet

I realise the Klingon buffs out there will say I'm whining, as I tend to like the Feds, but strictly from a gaming point-of-view, between the added forward weaponry and the fact that Klingons can cram as many tactical officers as they want on to their bridge, won't that overpower the Klingons just a bit?

From a realism stand point, I can see reconfiguring any bridge terminal to suit any officer a captain wants to put on the bridge, but this is a feature that should either be offered to everyone (except for possibly less advanced vessels, like the starter ships) or it shouldn't be offered at all.

Just my opinion.

I, too, have had that same thought enter my mind.

Will I be able to use the creature creator to make a human captain working for the Klingons?

Figure there will probably be some violent, socio-pathic people, who reject the peaceful ideals of the Federation, and make a name for themselves in the Klingon Empire. I would love to play a human captain fighting for the glory of the Empire, and for revenge against the Federation fools who thought they could imprison me!!!

Draconianknight questions for the Devs:
Please read and head!
1) Can Cryptic be more specific about increased PvE content. After all the Klingon Empire is fighting a two front war. The Romulans are not even a playable race at this time. One would think that there would be a vast source of PvE mission content there.
2) Since the Klingon faction is entirely PvP centric (with exception of the PvE battleground style of PvP). Does this mean that the Klingon Faction will have no encounters with the Borg?! It is very hard to concieve of a PvP encounter vs the Borg.
3) Since Species 8472 is playing a major part in the Path to 2409 story line. How will this play into PvP unless Species 8472 becomes a playable race on the Klingon side?
4) Cryptic has stated that the Klingon Faction will have the same basic career paths as the Federation, Tatical, Science and Engineering. Since the Klingon side is completly PvP centric, of what use is the Science career path? Sence there will be no expolartion for the expansion of the Empire, looking for slave races, resources to exploit. A science officer seems redundent.
5) Cryptic has made repeated reference to Memory Alpha as a central pool of knowledge and training for the Federation. Only vague mention has been made of the same for the Klingon Faction. Where and how will the Klingon faction be allowed to do this, if at all really?

While I think you have a valid point about max tactical. I still wonder about the level progression. What would be more reasonable for a 1 or 2 hour period after work:

A) get in an episode or two.

B) go hunting for a target. And If I do find that target kill them quickly before they can warp away or their friends show up.

After a few times I am sure I will still be in a newbie ship (the IKS Targeting Dummy) vs the NCC - Advancealot.

As for answering these questions. My understanding is that they will probably post a reply in a non-forum way and answer 3 or 4 of the questions that doesnt really give out more information then before.

I would have linked in the carrier specs from ships of the line, but apparently only the federation has ships. The carrier is also basically a big bad battleship. Lots of weapons

All the klingon ship descriptions (when they were still there) said they have cloaks. Whether they can bounce them on/off during combat remains to be seen.
