I don't give kudos to cryptic too often, but I do give credit where credit is due.

Cryptic, than you so much dealing with the BFI and SNB doffs.. they have made PvP so much better in that a ship can actually be destroyed again, though I am sure some will disagree.. the point is... "it is better than it was" I have played back to back PvP games all day today (about a dozen games)... I haven't been able to do that in a very long time!

Some things to think about.. you are resetting the borg set back to your original intentions for the set. Reset the nerf you gave it a couple months back too. It was never the borg set.. it was the doffs

Pvp is nothing but a disable this and disable that these days...

for a tier 1 (starship flow capacitors) skill of draining systems (power syphon, syphon drones), the counter skills for them are higher tiers . Reconsider because it is easy to not have to worry about your own healing when your enemy is constantly disabled or can't hurt you due to power drains.

Make sure that everything has a counter!!

Reconsider shared cooldowns with all these new powers.. eliminate them if need be. You are giving such a variety of new consoles, powers, and abilities that the number of BOFFs we have cannot completely compensate for them all! You might want to consider higher BOFF counts for ships to give more counter abilities or perhaps more abilities per boff

I second all of this with the exception of the borg set "de-nerf" I think the changes to the borg set are good as it removes tank/scorts and zombie cruisers for good.

Other than that though, I second all this enthusiastically

making the borg set a 3pc (i.e. taking away the module) has effectively killed players from getting the shield proc because no one will use that shield in PvP. Due to the capacity being so low, one folly will not only take the shield facing down, but the "over-damage" will also cause damage to the hull in addition to the 10% bleedthrough.

I have tested this shield even with 2 field generators and it just isn't a good shield for PvP (at least on an escort) For a cruiser with a higher shield modifier, I can see where you are coming from, but I don't think it will be as bad as you think of they de-nerf the 2 month old nerf on the set.

The only true winner with the borg set nerf are the people who used the 2pc for hull heals because they didn't equip ET or HE. If they want to maintain their borg hull heal, they will have to equip the deflector along with the engines. Some people do this anyway, but from an escort point of view, I don't like to.. a positron deflector is much better for an escort than the borg deflector.

I wouldn't have a problem wit the borg shield on my patrol escort, I have 99% uptime on EPtS with Omega force set on and I do just fine, for me the extra heals are excessive, on that front I might actually have to agree with the annoying people who say "L2P" *Kicks self time and time again* I know they would say that getting the borg set is learning to play but it's not at all, it's learning to sit back and let the game play itself.

At the end of the day it's just another style of play and it will be a slap in the face for those who can't live without it's heals but can't live with the regen shields but it's a huge bonus to the other sets, to balance and to variance of builds.
