***Resolved Issues***
  • "Login failed for unknown reason" error
  • Missing additional character slot for current/ lapsed Gold Members
  • Slow patching in the launcher
  • A bug that involved Romulan Liberated Borg captains and their skills once they chose an ally

Thanks for responding. Talking to the engineer I get:

Assemble Ship Repair Comps
Assemble Ship Battery
Assemble Prototypes
Engineering Assignments

I choose Engineering Assignments and there are a few doff assignments but nothing relevant to analysing artifact or building a console. There is no Special Projects anywhere. Any ideas?

The main problem is that there are 50 thousand different damned types of consoles and about 95% of them are completely worthless. They need to consolidate them and get rid of the crap ones.

Ahh my bad was thinking of the previous step to make a powered one from the strange but with the sci officer - blame it on lack of sleep lol - look under Assemble Prototypes and there should be Fabricate Prototype Console from Alien Artifact

You are correct, he is not, or simply mistyped.
You get Mk XII consoles only from the chain.
