In Hive Onslaught, the 2 unimatrix ships does fire this green "lance" on myself - although my BoP is cloaked.
I can fly between both with no other ship around and i am cloaked doing nothing. They target me both and fire - and miss, i see the visuals and thats it.
So to me i seems, they should not target cloaked vessels at all if they are not uncloacked when targetted.
How close were you? I know I've been spotted by the cubes in CSE through cloak before. It may just be a Borg thing, which really makes some amount of sense.
