No Dilithium?! Marks are one thing but what about those of us who aren't interested these grinds? It's bad enough there is no loot or DL rewards in the season 7 Tribble build for STF's.
this was a fun mission, played it a few times on tribble. i actually had to try when doing this, making a mad dash all around the volt to kill the weavers. the first part can basically be beaten by 2 escorts going in opposite directions though.
"They could initiate a reaction that would pull the Vault out of our dimension!" ...To where, exactly?
Looks like a fun mission. I'm glad we finally get to bring our main starships into the Haakona System!
Probably the mirror universe. There's evidence in between their show appearances (which in the S6 dev blog STO appears to have embraced) that the Tholian Assembly is united accross both universes, and possibly across time as well. They appear to use this as a convenient way to capture things by moving them somewhere that they can't be retaken - they did this with the USS Defiant in TOS (taking it into the past in the mirror universe), and the ISS Odyssey on Nukara (bringing it into out universe and buried inconveniently deep in a planet).
Interesting. Tholians really are getting around, hitting two sectors a long ways apart without controlling any of the territory in between. How are they doing that?

Transwarp, possibly some type of interdimensional travel allowing them to use a conveniently empty universe to bypass enemy territoriy, or possibly just higher warp speeds than the Federation, Klingons, or Romulans can match. Their technology is weird and poorly understood, but it seems pretty clear it's more advanced than anyone else involved.

I realised it is the absence of any tangible reward that keeps me from playing the fleet (as in Season 6) missions. Getting only marks that by themselves aren't of any use just doesn't cut it (they're only good for fleet base projects, IF you spend a lot of other stuff along the way).
Now I get the same feeling about the new Season 7 missions. And, which is far worse, even about STFs, unless they at least keep current Dil rewards (it's ridiculous, anyway, one elite gives you enough Omega marks for a couple days worth of projects, but again, you gotta get the other stuff as well).
And if STFs were to become just a "mark generating tool", I'd loose the last "playing part" of the game. Since getting ressources and doffs and whatever from the exchange, replicator, NPC vendors and filling it in either starbase's or reputation's projects is not playing. That seems like paperwork and growing bureacracy I'm already spending half the time in game with. Just saying...
On the other hand, give those missions something, like dilithium or/and at least some Mk XI rare loot, and there is reason to play, or replay those missions on a regular basis.
