I made a post up in General Feedback, and I'd like to ask what you all might think of it, particularly how it relates to PvP:

I personally would prefer if DMG modifier was replaced by something that reduces weapon energy drain and thus improves the DPS indirectly.

While your idea has merit, I'm not sure I like it.

In general, I think there is already too much dmg in space. Adding some "automated" hits doesn't feel good in my guts. But well...I can be wrong about this.

I can understand that for sure. But I thought it'd be a very different take on making Dmg worth using.
