A bug that involved Romulan Liberated Borg captains and their skills once they chose an ally
After years of trying to get this game to play on a Windows XP system, I have finally succeeded!
It involved downloading a wrapper that "JiriDvorak" created and hexediting the main ds9dw.exe file to replace instances of ddraw.dll with the new ddra2.dll wrapper.
I can finally play one of my favorite Star Trek games again. If anyone wants the modded .exe file and the wrapper drop me a pm with your e-mail addy and I'll send it to you.
Searched and found how to do it myself thanks to the leads you gave, OP.
But now I wonder if this will work with Starship Creator as well. I got DW because I played Starship Creator and Warp II came free with DW so picked it up for Warp II.
I can't find my Warp II disk at the moment even though I installed it a little while back but it had graphic issues so installed the first SC. And it has issues with being able to read things like missions or anything. Maybe a draw issue so going to try this fix to see if it works.
I'm currently doing an STF in the foundry called "STF - Dominion Wars" where you have to save a Vorta that has vital information to end the war quickly.
I loved the game as well, that's why I'm doing this episode now.
