Danubes got a boost! WELL ISNT THAT SPECIAL!

Since when did Danube's got a boost since the lengthened cd?

And I've had situations where I wish I packed EPtA because someone knocked out my aux and I thus can use neither siphons, tykens nor runabouts. So yes there is a way to disable Danubes, along with the entire science vessel. Its my first opening salvo to get my Danubes in before I get Siphon Droned back to spacedock...

you guys are forgetting that as soon as danubes came out and we started complaining about the holds being OP they instead BUFFED the dilithium danubes tractor beams to tractorbeam2 a week after they came out. They definitely were listening to us...and laughing.

I thought that change was just a bug fix?

They were meant to have a higher version, but had the non-advanced version's tractor beam version instead.

Drastically lengthened cooldown... I really can't see how Cryptic can screw that up besides making the cooldown so long that the runabouts simply stop using them.

And as a result of the change cause even player TBs to have 5min cds.

Oh well, I guess a workaround around longer cooldowns is to keep spamming fresh danubes, assuming that each one has an independent cd from the previous one it replaced.

Just theorizing how Cryptic might screw up a patch to lengthen Danube tractor cooldowns.

It's only that TB danubes are already a serious problem in game without the Vesta. Can't imagine it getting better with the Vesta.

Not everyone is able to use that to good use. People cannot create builds solely around 1x problem in the game. There are already enough counter-builds to take cognizance of.

How about giving them the Tractor Beam Mine tractor instead?

The one that slows you down a bit instead of stopping you dead in your tracks..
