As to the question about the Duty Officer Dilithium changes -- that was not an intentional omission from the patch notes. Blah blah technical mumbo jumbo something about different branches for data... so I missed them when I pulled the information for all the new stuff.

As for the change itself, I'm only responsible for reporting the changes, not deciding or making them, so I can't tell you anything about it you don't already know. I will make sure it's communicated better when we get Season 7 to Holodeck, and I apologize that there was any question about it when Season 7 hit Tribble.
Still nothing new about my bug report? I really need it resolved before the 1st of December. (not counting in Foundry downtimes that will extend the deadline)

I have a shot at a timeship, not too eager to miss it.

Even when I want to believe you, the same happened with your responses to the 500 day emblem rewards, and the conversion of emblems to dil later.
At its worst it makes it difficult to believe in the non-intentional part, at its best it tells me that having a squishy brain in the office since S5, wasn't enough to improve internal communications.
In either cases, *oooops i did it again* is a very unsatisfying response. Especially when followed by, *it's just the way it is*

I'm guessing that is probally going away all together...
i wouldnt have as much of a problem with the dil changes if they added the original turn in contraband 5hrs is a joke

It depends on the back end procedures tbh. If zero relies on people activlly communicaiting with her on this stuff it's quite resonable it would slip through.

From a PR perspective, I'd strongly suggest you guys cover new dilithium acquisition methods in the same post. This is really more of a note for Brandon.

Especially on the forums, people are fixated on the acquisition methods they're losing. There are a few new acquisition methods.

Additionally, you might want to reiterate places where you removed dilithium costs.

Beyond that, I think it would be ideal if you guys could internally cook up a few new methods of reliable acquisition. For example, a small dilithium reward as one of the optional rewards for mission replay. I'd look at giving them all 480 dilithium as an alternative to other rewards and then taking feedback on which longer missions might call for 50% more due to length.

Then if you need an extra sink, maybe add a DOff mission for each mark type that converts dilithium into each mark type as well as dil to commodity assignments. Particularly if tied to Colonial, Trade, and Exploration CXP, which seem like three of the hardest to get.

I still have access to all my science bridge officer powers on my tribble character after this new patch:

With a science BOFF in my Uni Lt slot on my Mobius I should have only Hazard Emitters 1 and Transfer Shield Strength 2

On my hot bar (and in my available skills window) I have:
Gravity Well 1, Gravity Well 3, Hazard Emitters 1, Hazard Emitters 1, Polarize Hull 1, Transfer Shield Strength 2, Transfer Shield Strength 2, Transfer Shield Strength 2 and Transfer Shield Strength 3.

All are usable still.

Character: West@Protector if you wish to take a look

On the bright side you did fix the engineer and tactical powers. =)

Also, when NPCs talk to me they use my Shuttle's name not the ship I'm in.
Formerly known as Protector from June 2008 to June 20, 2012

If the KDF can get a Fleet D7, the Feds should have a Fleet Exeter.
