After looking through the choice of races Star Trek Online has to offer players at the moment (Alien, Caitian etc) I have been working on creating a fan made race based on the rabbits of Watership Down, of which I call them Lapinean which is an extension on Lapine, the rabbit language. I think they have the potential to be played as Federation and Klingon characters, and they would make good tactical and engineering officers.
The Star Trek Online Race Traits I have chosen are Acute Senses, Natural Immunities and Sure-Footed.
Presumably you're using an Alien and using the costume editor to make it look somewhat rabbit like. Have you had any success? What did you come up with?
No reason to disallow rabbits as even a sperm whale can build a starship and explore the outer regions of space. Good job the Borg never met them, unless the B'gers are actually Borg whale probe ships!
