When about to engage an enemy contact or the tholian alert, i click to engage enemy and nothing happens. Took about 10 or 15 secs for the game to acknowledge that i want to engage, but still kept asking if i want to engage

This lag happens changing zones as well. It's not consistent, but happens frequently switching sector blocks, going from sector space into a system (ie: Beta Ursae to DS9), going from a system map to ground (ie: DS9 space to DS9 ground) etc.

The length of the lag is not consistent either. Sometimes it takes 2-3 seconds for the game to acknowledge your request, to upwards of 10 seconds or longer. Going from Orellius to Beta Ursae took the longest so far for me, at around 12 seconds between the time I clicked to warp to when the game actually acknowledged my request and sent me to the loading screen for Beta Ursae.

Several of my toons took 3-4 seconds between clicking to dock with DS9 and the game switching to the loading screen, while one character it was instant.

New event just start, many players log in to try it at the same time. So yes lags may occur.
