I reported this in game, as best I could, but I'll post here as well.

Ever since yesterday, while in-game, the game minimizes and takes me back to my desktop, though the game still runs, and then seconds later takes me back into the game. It is consistent and annoying that I can hardly make any headway in the game, whether I'm just sitting still in any random sector, whether I'm trying to assign an assignment or if I am in combat.

What gives? Is there something wrong on my end? Do I need to update something?

Please help!
