So I went out and got a romulan embassy threat console for the plasma burn animation exclusively.

... only to find out there isn't one.

I tested in a singleplayer mission in a beam boat with all power to shields, no animation at any point :/

My dumb question time, did the proc happen on your target? Cause its only a 2.5 percent chance, so you might have gotten really unlucky, if I'm remembering how it works right.

I didn't check any logs or have a parser. I just went into a singeplayer map, put all power to shields (to make it last longer) in a beam boat and shot down 4 ships watching their hull closely.

I was more thinking it might not be supposed to have any animation I don't know if it's a bug moderator but okay sure.

I have no problem seeing burn animation. I have two of the consoles so twice as much chance to proc. Maybe you haven't managed to activate the proc yet somehow?

The burn animation appears to be a more redish color than what I see when it happens from regular plasma weapons. I amusing phsawer weapons so maybe the color of your weapons energy type is mixed in?

And I have to add our own personal color plasma burn that's crazily pimp, easily the most overlooked item in season 7 so far.

Respect to whoever came up with that idea I am loving it.
