I can't seem to find how to apply this. Is it for fleet versions of ships only?

Why just the fleet skin? Seems a little elitist to expect this change to be made just for that one skin.

The deflector simply should be a separate option from the ship skins, this way it would apply to ALL the ship skins.

The windows and escape pods should also be separate options, too.

Windows aren't separate from the escape pods, no. I only choose one set of windows every time because they're attached to the only escape pods that I like.

Ah. I've only flown a Defiant for the last... year and a half? or so? So I never noticed escape pods were linked to windows.
