***Resolved Issues***
  • "Login failed for unknown reason" error
  • Missing additional character slot for current/ lapsed Gold Members
  • Slow patching in the launcher
  • A bug that involved Romulan Liberated Borg captains and their skills once they chose an ally

Despite the removal of the STF store I have not seen DS9 - DS9 orbit and DS9 sector space this packed in a while

But New Romulus and surrounding space - ghostville

That is my number 1 indicator that this New Romulus is a Fail.

the two are really two separate things

Ds9 is still a great "homebase" has the Conrtaband turn in NPC's along with being the center of the best doff missions, along with a good Extange->mail->Bank layout

They can go visit - lol - it seems thats where everyone is - like 10- instances running

hard to find a ship spot without being bumped by another ever few seconds

totally weird since the STF store is gone.

Maybe that is a big problem with New Romulus as a place to go - NOTHING THERE!

I don't think you understand how instances work.

New Romulus does not have the same services as ESD or DS9. And with the reputation system, people will be wanting to buy hypos, major regenerators, shield charges, etc. As far as I know, there is no vendor that sells them on New Romulus. Not even the Tuffli freighter has a hypo vendor. So really, New Romulus can't function as a base of operations. That will always still be ESD or DS9. And you can't transwarp there either. The best you can do, is transwarp to fleet base, and then transwarp to Pi Canis assuming you have unlocked it.

No, its just its not meant to function as a base, Bajor have similar issues since you dont have contacts for Contraband, Shipyard or the STF essentials.

Also DS9 is a Transwarp location, when I was running STFs I was based in DS9 since if my ship was injured I could repair it, if my character was injured I could remove it ... only ESD offers the same but its 10 times more annoying to navigate and still lacks a Dabo table.

I know they are copies - but it also gives you a ruff idea how many people are there + coming and going and switching
