With the impending gauntlet being thrown down by SW:TOR, figured it might be nice to counteract a lot of the negativity towards STO on these forums. Things aren't perfect (not even for the best or most popular MMOs) but if the game makes money then we can continue to play for free or find something more our speed.
So list 3 reasons you play STO. Don't whine or complain or include any negativity, just 3 reasons. Keep it simple, stupid.
My 3 reasons:
-Star Trek storyline/IP/voices/sounds
-Space combat is realtime, strategic, yet fun and hectic
-Foundry missions to provide new content in between official storyline releases and updates

I'm gonna cheat a bit and post 3 more things:
1 - Customization of character/boffs/starship designs
2 - Fantastic Story Missions (while they last) of great quality!
3 - Regular updates that keep the game fresh and exciting
