Hey guys, My fleet is coming up for T3 shipyard and I've been thinking about getting the Nova retrofit as it is one of my favourite ship designs however I am unsure as to how to build it, I'm playing an engineer in a good Excelsior. I want this ship to do PvE and dabble in PvP without making everyone around me hate me
Do you have anywhere near enough EC to purchase any modules from the exchange?
Not since I bought a DCE doff this morning, I might try to grind for 1250 zen... but at 150 zen a day minus my in game dil costs that'll take some time...
I don't have the money to get 4 FSMs or get 1 and the ship, I also lack the will to grind it out with the current dil system
Heads up on this: the discount only applies to any VA ships you've bought from the C-Store. The Science Vessel Refit (Rhode Island) does not get you the discount. So you'd have to obtain 4 modules somehow even if you did buy the C-Store version.

Pity - would mail a fleet module or two to you if could afford it, as the Fleet Nova is definitely worth it, but that (sadly) isn't the case.
The Fleet Nova is, in my opinion, an awesome little ship. I have the Vesta and the Wells class (amongst others) in my sci toon's ship inventory, but I just keep finding myself back in my (fleet) Rhode Island. It's has almost escort levels of maneuverability, can hold it's own perfectly well, and with it's sci abilities is a real menace to enemies in PvE and STF missions. I love it.

Well I am certainly looking into it but if I can't pull off the fleet version then I'll get the standard one and lay it out with my sovi's tac layout (TT, AP:B and FAW) and give it a science denial build, then its just the eng bit (though I'm planning to cycle 1 EPtS (DCE doffs) and an Aux2SIF)
