Yes, another thread about the reputation system. It's a simple problem which to me seems like an easy thing to fix, and it would make the system more bearable to use.

Basically I would like to see what I am unlocking before running a project for an item or piece of kit.

I wonder why this information isn't available to us already, if we all had that specs popup window appear when we hover over a project we can make more informed decisions about running the project or not.

As it stands we all have to pay the price for that shield or weapon and jump in blind, hoping we get something good back - I've already seen a few threads who are unhappy with the results, all that time and resource for a sub-standard item. Bound to account and worthless.

We can't cancel projects once selected, and they take too long to complete. At the very least give us the information we need to make the right decision on what project to run.

This bothers me since the Rep system came out.
While we could for example see on DS9 what stats the Taskforce Omega rewards had (for free!!), this is now impossible.

As a matter of fact.....YOU CAN!

In the list of available projects, put your mouse over the icons for Rewards and Requirements and you get a tooltip pop up that tells you things like how many of a particular item/expertise/etc. the project requires, and it even shows you what the stats on the equipment are. But for things like the Romulan pistol/assault/rifle projects you can't see it because it unlocks multiples of that item in the store each with a different stat like [Dmg], [CrtX], etc.

Here is a screen shot. I have placed a red box around the items you can get info from mouse over:

And here is what it looks like for personal armor from a set when you put your mouse over the Armor icon under "Rewards":
Notice I have no projects even running and I can see the stats.

Happy gaming.

Edit: But you can't right click the icon to get more detailed info on set bonuses.

As you yourself pointed out, this only works when the "reward" is a single item.
Why can't we see the stats for everything we unlock beforehand, but must invest time and money to unlock them to see what they can do?

I'll admit, I've been looking for stats on weapons and had no idea you could still get the info for 'standalone' items - but like misterd3 says we should have the same info for everything.

Even for assault rifles (the reason I started the thread actually) they could just show the standard specs with all the available bonus combinations listed.

That aside I appreciate the heads up - unless things change the one thing I'll get is a single space set and ground set, probably from Omega. I think it'll be cheaper and quicker to use fleet weapons because at least you know what you're getting there.
