Hi, thinking about purchasing the c-store Rhode island and Exeter classes, for their respective consoles to put on my vesta. I'm aware the Exeter does not have a fleet varient, but the Rhode does. Will i get a discount on how many moduals are required, like i did with my Galaxy retrofit?


Also, is the Exeters gas scanner thing effective against schimitars on No win and Khit accords?

To get the discount the ship needs to be a Admiral level (Tier V) ship you purchased from the C-Store. Any ship that is of a lower tier (Lt. to Captain) or purchased for Marks (way back in STO history), EC, or the VA Token they DO NOT count for the discount.

The Rhode island does not get a discount because its a Lt. Comm (Tier II) ship.

scimitar class ships have "perfect cloak" meaning they dont leave emmissions for the "emission seeking torpedo" to follow. any other cloaking NPC/PC ship should get affected by it.

No, the torpedo still seeks them out and WILL hit them.

They just do squat.

Correct, and it just ensures that you're the next to get one-shotted by 50K of damage.
