Who here would like to see Omega Marks increased? It is fine with one toon but multiple you are going to spend on day playing and waiting.I could use more Omega Marks as result of this.

I'm the other way around. I already have loads of Omega, but am having to grind out RomMarks.

Guess i'll have to hit up the Rep Event.

If by increased you mean added to more content, then yes, count me in favor of an increase.

Marks should be earned by playing any content that deals directly with the faction in question.

It could be that or by doing events like STFs etc.

I wish they would do what they said they would and add Romulan and Omega Marks to Romulan/Borg story missions.
A meaningful amount as well. Spending ages on New Romulus just to get 10 Marks is silly. Missions should be awarding 30+ minimum. Featured episodes and story missions 50 and so on...

I definitely think we're way too light on the Rom Marks - particularly since (unlike the Omega Marks) you can't trade them in for Dilithium.

I just finished the Tier 2 mission and came away with 20 Rom Marks - you could spend a couple of hours on New Romulus and still have less than 100 to show for it.

Adding them to existing content is a good idea but they could still double them easy for the adventure zone missions and events.

The better source of marks are the patrols and Red Alert in Tau Dewa. if you want to earn unlimited marks on the ground fast you have to scan radiation samples. if you are good at the minigame you can get up to 30 marks for scanning 10-15 samples

While I don't care one way or another, I haven't at all seen the need, 75-90 marks an stf seems plenty. Romulan marks are a lot harder to come by in my opinion.

Depends how many marks the mk12 gear takes, but for just progressing through the rep system I have more marks than I can spend just by running an stf every few days.

# 10 No shortage of omega marks

I'm afraid that I don't have shortage of Omega Marks. At least not yet. When I start producing equipment it might a different, but I doubt it. Dilithium will the limiting factor then.

If you want Romulan Marks, team up with other people.

Doing the Ground missions, with a team of 5, you only need to collect a 5th of what you would have to collect by yourself.

Doing the Daily Patrol, sure you get more enemy, but they will die a lot faster if you are in a group. And you will probably have chance at better (trash) loot.
Just avoid the Tholian mission at Beta Thoridor or Beta Lankal. The one where you have to beam up artifacts flowing in space. Its bugged. You will get the number of enemies for your team size, but you will all be in your own individual instances. Fightling off 5 times the correct number of Tholians is not fun.

And if all else failed, just spam "Acamer" 5 or 6 times and you've got 60 marks in minutes. Boring but quick.
