Omega marks are easy (probably too easy) to get. On the other hand, Romulan marks are a pain and are very slowly grinded. Mine trap is funny but i can't imagine playing it over and over for 2-3h to buy some gear. Farming Acamar is fine but it's a bit repetitive.

We'd need a tough instance rewarding a lot of Romulan Marks - something similar to a STF. Or maybe just more of it across the board but it seems hard to justify.

PvP dailys should award Omega, Romulan and Fleet marks.

Why not cakes and candies too?

Raising a Epohh to Elder, then trading them in gives 400 Romulan Marks. All you need to do is get 5 Epohh research, buy an epohh, then do doff missions to raise the epohh through its various levels. Might take over a week to do, but there is no chance of failure.

This alone is the reason why I haven't been short of Romulan marks. I pick up the Tau Dewa patrol daily, complete it through several Acamar runs in less than 10 minutes, and wait until the reputation event to hand it in for 25% more marks. Basically it boils down to 75 Romulan marks for maybe 8 minutes of work...by far the most efficient way to farm them.

It will take a lot more time to get "through its various levels".

The long part is getting 5 Epohh Research to get the Epohh. It takes 3 or 4 days to go through the various levels.

I've been able to get Romulan Marks by the boatload (the radiation scans and Tau Dewa Patrol have been good to me), but I haven't been able to get Omega Marks as consistently.

For those of you who have an abundance of OM, what are you doing? Elite STFs? Defera? I'd love to know.

Personally if they reduces prices on the items a bit I would be happy. Maybe they could make the mark bonus time two hours like they did with the fleet marks.

I think the romulan missions should offer a little more than they do. they usually offer 10. i think 20 would be nicer.

but id prefer to see an increase in fleet marks over romulan or omega.
