A bug that involved Romulan Liberated Borg captains and their skills once they chose an ally
So yesterday, I was running an Elite STF mission in my standard ship. Assault Cruiser, anitque antiborg weaponry, and the AEGIS SET. Normally, I use the Borg set on an ship I fly, because of the proc bonuses. Let me tell you, I flawlessly beat Khitomer Space and I was really surprised. Normally, I die 6 or 7 times with the Borg Set and get major injuries, but I didn't die once this time. It might have had a lot to do with me not getting targeted as much, but It still seemed like I could tank WAY better with the Aegis set. I'll definitely be running Aegis until I get M.A.C.O.
Yes, I know, not my blog, but just wanted to share this interesting discovery with you.

The Borg set requires you to be very active with shield redistribution; both manually and via tactical team. It doesn't have the capacity to give you a buffer for mistakes, and they'll chew through a facing and melt your hull in a heartbeat. If you actively distribute however, it's sustained tank ability is pretty amazing and surpasses the other sets by quite a bit.
True, and it has an extremely rapid recovery rate, I can walk away from huge engagements and not even have to pop a shield heal.
Unfortunately, running Aegis for Cure Space Elite did not help at all. I swear they need to nerf that particular STF, because I have no problems with the other elites. Raptors and Cubes outputting 1500 damage per shot just seems wrong, as does the oneshotting of plasma torpedoes.
