How many credits can one toon realistically use? I'm a casual player who has managed to build my starbase pretty much by myself (the other members of my fleet moved on from the game). I'm working on my Industrial Fabricator right now, having just opened up the Transwarp Gate, and I find myself wondering if there's any point to the grind beyond this functionality. Do I hope to at some point fly a fleet escort? Maybe, but even then, am I ever going to spend the over one million credits I have?
That's kind of my fear, that I've somehow broken the whole reason for contributing. I don't mind some of the fleet actions, but once I get done with the Blockade accolades, I'm going to be pretty tired of them. I'd love a way that people in big fleets who don't have access to credits could contribute to my starbase - call it a Cultural Exchange, or even Independent Contracting. I'm killing myself on this grind though.
I'm in a mid size fleet, but am at the top of the contributor leader board right now. I've maxed out on Tier 2 engineering fleet weapons and all of the fleet ships/bonuses that I care to own in our current level (III).
I've still got over 2.5 million fleet credits. And at the rate I'm adding to that pile in a quest to move the starbase forward, it looks like I'll never really be able to spend them all.
I would love a way to share/give excess fleet credits to some of the newer members of my fleet, or even to my own alt characters.
Convert it into fleet mark boosts to get the marks you need?
I have a constantly full pool of boosts, but the multiplier isn't high enough to drain the excess. I'd like to be able to reinvest them - maybe a fleet holding at a Dil mine that can only be used for fleet projects!
